On Tuesday 25th April, PROMPERÚ's brand 'SUPER FOODS PERÚ' officially launched at Seafood Expo Global 2017 in Brussels. At 12pm the ribbon was cut to inaugurate the PROMPERÚ stand in the presence of the Ambassador of Peru to Brussels and Peru's Minister of Production, as well as other authorities and private sector representatives.

MSC Marks 20th Anniversary With Release Of 2020 Strategy

Today, as the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) marks 20 years since its creation, the organisation set out its strategy for the years ahead. The plan includes the MSC’s aspiration for a more than a third of global marine catch to be certified or engaged in the MSC program by 2030. The MSC’s ambition is to strengthen engagement and impact in the Global South, Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs), priority markets and species, and with consumers, while continuing to deliver value to MSC certified fisheries.

Tyson Looking To Sell Off Non-Meat Based Brands

Tyson Foods Inc. said late Monday it is exploring the sale of some of its "non-protein" brands. The company, known for its chicken, pork, and beef products, said it is looking to sell its Sara Lee frozen bakery business, its Kettle frozen food business, and its Van's frozen waffle and breakfast cereal business to focus more on its protein products.
