Meat Institute Scholarship Foundation Increases Grants & Expands Eligibility

The North American Meat Institute (NAMI) Scholarship Foundation will offer larger awards to students in 2017-2018. Winners will receive $5,000 each, an increase from $3,000 in 2016-2017. Last year nine awards were given to high-performing undergraduate students to pursue degrees in animal, meat and food science, or in a culinary arts program.

Delft Blue To Expand Manufacturing Operations In The Mohawk Valley

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has announced that Delft Blue, a leading supplier of portion controlled cuts of veal and pork in the Northeast, will expand its production facilities and create 22 new manufacturing jobs in Oneida County. The project will be completed with support from a Community Development Block Grant Economic Development award of $330,000.
