Research Claims 'Practices Used By Eggland's Best Assures A Fresh Egg'

An independent study published in the Journal of Applied Poultry Research by a major agricultural research university shows that Eggland's Best is the leader egg in freshness, and that EB eggs stay fresher longer than ordinary eggs.  It was concluded by Charles Johnson, former Chief, Grading Branch, USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service and co-author of the study that "production and handling practices used by Eggland's Best assures a fresh egg and, further, extends the freshness period beyond what is typically found in generic eggs."
