Stavis Seafoods To Open Additional Facility In Peabody, MA

Stavis Seafoods today announced it is opening an additional 40,000 square foot warehouse facility just north of Boston in Peabody, Massachusetts. Stavis Peabody will open on March 6, 2017, and serve as the primary home for the company’s broad line of frozen seafood products. The new facility will enable the company to put most of its frozen inventory under one roof, improving order fulfillment and warehouse efficiencies. The new Stavis Peabody facility is easily accessible, located just off Interstate 95 at One Technology Drive in Peabody, MA.

GSSI At The Heart Of New Walmart Policy

Walmart backs GSSI through their freshly released seafood policy. The world’s largest retailer will now accept certification schemes, which have successfully completed the GSSI Benchmark Process. GSSI’s Global Benchmark Tool recognizes certification schemes that are in alignment with the internationally accepted FAO Guidelines.
