During IPM Essen 2017, the prestigious IPM Innovation 2017 title in the Bedding and Balcony Plant category was awarded to Dümmen Orange. The accolade was presented by the Central Horticultural Association (ZVG) in recognition of Pelargonium zonale 'Brocade Fire Night.' Notable features included dark, novelty-type foliage with an impressive number of flowers.
