Wegmans Recalls Chicken Products Produced Without Inspection

Wegmans Food Markets Inc., a Rochester, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 1,125 pounds of chicken products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

UK: Cornish Daffodil Grower Snapped Up By Produce Supplier

Fresh produce firm Produce Investments has bought the Cornish daffodil grower Andrew Farming in a deal that includes more than 40 new commercial daffodil varieties as well as 90 smaller seedlings. The deal, completed through Produce Investment’s Rowe Farming Limited (RFL) subsidiary for an undisclosed amount, will allow the company’s daffodil range – which is sold to supermarkets across the UK – to be expanded.
