Tyson Breaks Ground On 'World-Class Facility' In Green Forest

The company officially broke ground Wednesday, Aug. 24, on its expansion project in Green Forest plant. Doug Ramsey, a Tyson senior vice president, said the company plans to build a 200,000-square-foot facility across the street from the existing plant. Plans call for the facilities to be connected by a corridor, he said. A press release from Tyson says the Green Forest plant currently produces a variety of partially cooked chicken products, including nuggets and portioned fillets, for food-service and retail customers.

Muffin Flavors On K-12 Menus
