Wijngaard Kaas, a widely respected Dutch cheese maker, took the Best of Class Award for its Chèvre Affiné in the Semi soft/Semi hard Goat’s Milk cheese category. The competition took place in in Madison, Wisconsin in early March of this year. This year's contest featured almost 3,000 different entries from multiple countries, being the largest world competition that has ever been hosted.
