University of Georgia alumni Maxine and Bob Burton have been awarded the Medallion of Honor by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Each year, the honor is presented to an outstanding individual or couple in recognition of their dedication to the college’s mission and to express gratitude for the time, advice, support, and in?uence they have provided. The Burtons were recognized at the recent commencement ceremony for the college, where they gave the keynote address to the graduates.

California Association of Flower Growers & Shippers (CalFlowers) is thrilled that World Floral Exposition is returning to California in 2016. Last year’s exposition, the first time it was held in California, was a great success for our members and many of their customers. We expect another strong showing of growers and suppliers this year. In fact, with six (6) weeks until this year’s show opens reservations in our pavilion are running at 150% of last year’s show as measured by reserved floor space.
