Floralife is committed to living and working as sustainably as possible. Our sustainable programs include hard goods made from recycled materials, Water Wise Products, as well as Sustainable and Recyclable Packaging.

The Tournament Of Roses – A #CAGrown Opportunity To Honor Tradition & Look To The Future

Over the last several years I have been honored to receive invitations from the California Cut Flower Commission to spend time with them at the Tournament of Roses, and I was fortunate to be able to visit Pasadena again last week for the annual festivities. The Commission has developed partnerships with the Buy California Marketing Agreement (CA Grown), the floral company FTD, and Cal Poly (both the SLO and Pomona campuses) to place floats in the Rose Parade consisting of California-grown flowers!

H-E-B Issues Recall For Certain Single Serving Soups For Potential Undeclared Peanut Allergens

H-E-B has issued a voluntary and precautionary recall for H-E-B Single Serving Tortilla Soup and H-E-B Single Serving Poblano Corn Chowder due to undeclared peanut allergens in seasoning provided by Southern Style Spices. There have been no reported illnesses related to this precautionary recall.

PA Firm Recalls Chili Product Due To Misbranding & Undeclared Allergen

Fresh Food Manufacturing, a Freedom, Penn. establishment, is recalling approximately 35,865 pounds of chili products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains peanuts, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label.
