Land O'Lakes Donates 36,000 Lbs. Of Cheese To Ozarks Food Harvest

Land O’Lakes, Inc. donated 36,000 pounds of cheese to Ozarks Food Harvest on Tuesday. This is the Land O’Lakes First Run Program’s 92nd donation since it was established in 2010. The program is committed to donating truckloads of fresh product year round, made specifically for food banks to help alleviate hunger nationwide.

Yogurt Manufacturers Among Recipients Of $101M In Empire State Development Project Funds

Empire State Development announced $101.1 million in economic development resources for 23 projects throughout the state.  C’ville Yoghurt, Inc. d/b/a Byrne Hollow Farm, a manufacturer of cultured dairy products, will use a grant of up to $500,000 to assist with acquiring land in Cortlandville, Cortland County, where they will construct a new 40,000-square-foot yogurt manufacturing facility and conduct employee trainings. FAGE USA Dairy Industry, Inc., a top competitor globally in the yogurt industry, will use a grant of up to $780,000 for purchasing machinery and equipment for the construction of the East Plant Project.
