New Belgian Sempervivum Collection Wins Bronze

In late August, Belgicactus walked away with the bronze medal at Florall 2015 for its collection of seven new Sempervivum varieties. The jury found it to be a rewarding new plant collection for the consumer. The jury also praised the fresh, contemporary and striking presentation, as well as valuing the fact that the company had bred the collection itself.

Gold For 'Eveline', The New Lagerstroemia Indica From Devriese-Luyssen

The fresh, light blooms of the new Lagerstroemia indica ‘Eveline’ were crowned with a gold award at Florall in August 2015. The jury was convinced that ‘Eveline’ brings innovation to the range, thus creating new marketing opportunities. ‘Eveline’ retains its compact shape and is therefore suitable for both garden and patio use. The jury also praised the fact that Kwekerij Devriese-Luyssen has created a link between ‘Eveline’ and the KiKa foundation (a children’s cancer charity).
