As a precaution, consumers who purchased goat-milk chevre cheeses from Apple Tree Goat Dairy, with use by dates of July 27, August 1, August 10 and August 14, should discard the cheese product or contact the manufacturer. The cheeses (Plain Chevre, Honey Pecan & Date Chevre, Horseradish & Cheddar Chevre, Garlic Herb Chevre, and French Herb Chevre) are labeled with the Apple Tree Goat Dairy name and address on the packaging.
