This appointment was made effective June 1, 2015, by written consent of the Company’s Board of Directors. Thompson will have responsibility for all of Cal-Maine Foods’ production and processing facilities located in Arkansas. He will report directly to Sherman Miller, chief operating officer of Cal-Maine Foods.

University of Illinois's John Newton To Join NMPF Economics Department

Agricultural economist Dr. John Newton will join the staff of the National Milk Producers Federation on July 1 as Senior Director of Economic Research, enhancing the research and analytical capabilities of the organization. Newton currently is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Agricultural Commodity Markets, Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

H-E-B Asks Customers To Curb Egg Buys Due To US Shortage
