The research is based on the behavior of 7 million shoppers in 14 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Multichannel grocery shopping is surging across the globe, with the birth of a new child being a primary driver of an increased propensity to buy online, according to the findings.

Retail Customer Satisfaction Drops Despite Improvement For Online Shopping

Customer satisfaction with retail is down for the first time in four years, according to a report released today by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). All brick-and-mortar retail categories show weakening or flat customer satisfaction for the final quarter of 2014. Only Internet retail is up from a year ago.
