Each year, outstanding booths are chosen at TPIE. A judging committee walked the floor on the first day of the show and chose simply the best among the show's exhibitors. TPIE Chairman Theresa Riley (Rockledege Gardens, Rockledge) and FNGLA President Sandy Stein (The Jungle Nursery, Miami) presented the TPIE booth awards to the winning firms on the TPIE Create Theater Stage.

Emerald Coast Growers has added 21,504 sq.ft. at their Pensacola, Florida, facility to refocus and expand their perennial offering. This latest expansion adds greenhouse space at Pensacola, allowing them to shift Phlox subulata production and add new crops at their Pace, Florida, location. Plans at Pensacola include ramp-up of the popular 128 size, which always sells out early, as well as expanding their already robust Phlox program featuring the full color spectrum: crisp white, deep rosy red, bi-colors, purple-blue and pinks. The new house holds 9,600 trays of Phlox and Heuchera.

PA Farmers Find A New Life In Cheese

Sue and Ken Miller sell milk from their 80 Holstein cows to Wawa and Land O'Lakes. But it was the Millers' six raw milk cheeses – sold at Philadelphia restaurants, Reading Terminal Market, Di Bruno Bros., local farmers' markets, breweries, Kimberton Whole Foods, and in Pittsburgh and Vermont – that helped save their farm.
