The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Seald Sweet International sponsored the third annual “Fresh From Florida” farm tour in early March, 2014. The tour is held in cooperation with area growers in an effort to educate fresh produce procurement and merchandising personnel of the Military Produce Group (MPG) regarding the diversity of crops grown on Florida farms.

Commercial striped bass fishermen will have to make do with a lot less this year as state fishing regulations for the summer season cut in half the number of days they can go fishing and the number of fish they can catch each day.
