Transcontinental Inc. announced that it entered into a definitive agreement under which it agreed to acquire the assets of Capri Packaging, a supplier of printed flexible packaging, located in Clinton, Missouri, for a purchase price of US$133 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval in the United States. Capri Packaging is a division of Schreiber Foods, Inc., a US$5 billion employee-owned dairy company, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

ABA Holds Its Inaugural Pay It Forward Event During 2014 Convention

During ABA’s Annual Convention in Scottsdale last week, many of the ABA members’ families came together to give back to the Arizona community. Participating in ABA’s first annual Pay It Forward event, convention attendees’ spouses and children made 500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to donate to Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development. Tumbleweed Center serves Maricopa County’s youth by providing a safe space for young adults in the community who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.
