In preparation for the upcoming corn season, Pioneer Growers is launching two new innovative packaged sweet corn products providing consumers with more convenience and value-added options in-store.   This includes a tray package with 8 ears of corn sold in a 10-count case instead of the 12-count industry standard and a grab-and-go microwavable bag package. Both products feature the Green Giant Brand.

World Will Be The Cape's Oyster In 2015

The Cape and Islands is the epicenter of the Massachusetts oyster-growing industry, which has seen phenomenal growth in recent years. In 2010, Massachusetts shellfishermen and aquaculturists landed 2.9 million pounds of oysters worth $6.97 million. In 2012, that had boomed to 4.1 million pounds worth $11.6 million. In 2015, the region will be host to the world's oyster experts and devotees, as the Cape was recently chosen as the site of the sixth annual International Oyster Symposium.

Foundation Receives Funding To Coordinate 2014 Great American Seafood Cook-Off

The Gulf Seafood Marketing Coalition (Coalition), through the Gulf and South Atlantic Fisheries Foundation, Inc. (Foundation), and with assistance from the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission,  Gulf  Seafood Institute, and the Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA), will host the 11th annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off.
