NPD: 40% Of Customers Loyal To Favorite Restaurant Regardless Of Promotions

More than forty percent of consumers say they are loyal to their favorite restaurants and will go there whether or not the establishment has a promotion, reports The NPD Group, a leading market research company.  And although there are still over one-third of consumers looking for bargains when choosing a restaurant, this large group of “loyal” restaurant consumers defines value as more than price, according to a recently released NPD foodservice report.

New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher participated in Farmers Against Hunger’s first gleaning of the season, picking collard greens along with a group of volunteers at Specca Farms in Springfield Township, Burlington County.  Secretary Fisher then continued on to Holy Cross Church of Christ in Trenton where the just-picked produce was delivered for distribution to those in need.
