Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats, a Wittenberg, Wis. establishment, is recalling approximately 4,454 pounds of liver paté products because they are misbranded in that they contain the milk protein sodium caseinate, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
