The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) sent a letter to Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack today urging him to avoid or delay the impact of a 1949 law that could drastically raise milk prices. The letter outlined legal options available to the government to avoid this "dairy cliff," which could impact the pocketbooks of millions of consumers and taxpayers.

Steve Cucinella Opens Wholesale Bakery In Tallahassee

Cucinella has 38 years of flour-crusted fingers invested in a family trade. Growing up, his family had a traditional Italian bakery in Rochester, NY. Now he’s running his own bakery. At the shop Steve Cucinella bakes almost 50 varieties of breads from white and whole grain wheat to herb garlic and orange pecan. There are roughly 70 types of bread in his repertoire, he said. Other baked goods include sticky buns, gourmet bagels, dinner rolls, pastry platters, along with breakfast pizza, stromboli and cookies.
