United Online, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has approved a preliminary plan to separate United Online into two independent, publicly-traded companies. One of the companies will be FTD, which will include the domestic and international operations of the company’s FTD segment, which includes the highly recognized FTD®and Interflora® brands, both supported by the Mercury Man logo that is displayed in approximately 40,000 floral shops worldwide.

NY Gov. Joins Pepsico CEO To Celebrate Construction Of New Muller Quaker Dairy Yogurt Plant

Governor Andrew Cuomo today joined PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi and Theo Müller Group CEO Heiner Kamps in the Genesee Valley Agri-Business Park to celebrate the construction of a new yogurt manufacturing facility by Muller Quaker Dairy.  The facility will be one of the country's largest yogurt manufacturing plants and is expected to create more than 180 new jobs in upstate New York.

California's Egg Farmers File Motion To Intervene In Proposition 2 Lawsuit

Today, California egg producers, through the Association of California Egg Farmers (ACEF), are filing a motion to intervene in a federal lawsuit which challenges the legal validity of Proposition 2 – a law regulating egg-laying hen enclosures.  The suit was filed by William Cramer, a Riverside County egg farmer who is not a member of ACEF.
