Shatto Milk Company’s small batch butter’s are quickly making a name for themselves after the local family farm completed its state of the art cheese/butter/ice cream facility in 2011. On Friday August 3rd, Shatto Milk Company’s Garlic Butter was named third in the Flavored Added – Spices, Herbs, Seasonings, Fruit Category during the 28th Annual American Cheese Society Conference and Competition. This butter is made in small batches of less than 40 lbs at a time and hand packed into small tubs on the Shatto’s local family farm. The butter is made with fresh cream from the Shatto’s cows in combination with fresh American garlic. …
