Reichel Foods Recalls RTE Meat & Poultry Products

Reichel Foods, a Rochester, Minn. establishment, is recalling approximately 15,880 pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

Sabra's food truck will be sharing free hummus samples with tens of thousands of Canadians from August 10- September 3.  The Sabra truck tour will kick off at Pilaros Taste of the Danforth in Toronto on August 10 – 12, with another planned appearance at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) on August 18 – 19.  The Sabra tour will continue through the month with multiple stops in Toronto (August 10 – 25), Ottawa (August 29) and Montreal (August 30- September 3).

Brent Robertson (above left), a wheat farmer in Perkins, Lincoln and Chase counties, NE, is the 2012-2013 chair of the Wheat Foods Council (WFC).  Brent is a member of the Nebraska Wheat Board and for the past year, served as the WFC’s vice chair.
