Chef-instructor Keijiro Miyata, CEC, CCE, AAC, accepted the award on behalf of Seattle Culinary Academy from Christopher Koetke, CEC, CCE, HAAC, vice president of the Kendall College School of Culinary Arts and the Laureate International Universities Center of Excellence in Culinary Arts.

Kingston & Associates Marketing To Offer Hass Avocados From Peru

Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC announced today that, through its strategic grower-partnerships, it will begin marketing Hass avocados from Peru for the 2012 season.  The first shipments of this program will arrive in late June and continue through the end of August.  As a compliment to its growing pineapple and mango programs, Kingston sees the move as another customer-driven expansion of its tropical import business.  “We are excited to expand our working relationships with our growers in Peru but even more excited to help them establish the marketing of this relatively new program here in the United States,” commented President, Ken Nabal.
