Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital,”) a leading private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to sell its affiliated portfolio company Fearmans Pork, which operates the largest pork processing facility in Ontario, Canada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The sale to Sofina Foods, Inc. is expected to close once regulatory approvals are obtained.
