The commercial fishing season for spotted seatrout (Cynoscion nebulosus), which has a 40,000-pound quota, red drum (Sciaenops ocellatus), which has a 35,000-pound quota and flounder (Paralicthys sp), which has a 74,000-pound quota will each open Jan. 1, 2012, at 12:01 a.m.
