General Mills announced the completion of its acquisition of a 51 percent controlling interest in Yoplait S.A.S., and a 50 percent interest in a related entity that holds the worldwide Yoplait brands, from PAI Partners and Sodiaal in a transaction valued at approximately US$1.2 billion. Old Home Foods has issued a voluntary recall of cottage cheese sold with the expiration date of August 1. The only Old Home products affected are cottage cheese with this expiration date of August 1. The recall has been instituted as this particular cottage cheese with the August 1 code may spoil prior to its expiration date. …
