Keukenhof Visitors Pick Their Preferred Gerbera

The fabled Dutch Keukenhof garden, which recently opened its doors for the season, has polled its visitors regarding their favorite strain of gerbera. The initiative for the survey came from the breeders themselves, as an alternative to the inspection that is usually done by VKC, the horticulture sector’s association for registration and judging.

Marin French Cheese Company Announces New Owner

Marin French Cheese Company and Rians today announced they have entered into a final agreement in which the 146-year-old California cheese company will be acquired by Rians, a family-owned French cheese company. The purchase agreement is subject to customary closing conditions and the transaction is expected to be completed in May 2011.

Rogue Creamery Says Raw Milk Ban Unlikely Under New Cheese Rules
