Kleinpeter Farms Dairy To Open Acadiana Outlet

Kleinpeter Farms Dairy will open an Acadiana distribution site, the company said Tuesday. The 3-acre site at the Lafay-ette Regional Industrial Park will include a small office area and an area for 10 delivery trucks to park and connect to electrical outlets for overnight storage, said Jeff Kleinpeter, president of the Baton Rouge-based dairy.

New Graduates Bring Master Ranks To 51

The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program, the nations only advanced certification course of its kind for veteran cheesemakers, has graduated two new and two returning Master Cheesemakers. With the new 2011 graduates, Wisconsin has 51 Masters. In total, they hold Masters certifications for 34 cheese varieties and represent 29 companies.
