Sanderson Profit Up, Considering Goldsboro, NC For $94m Deboning Plant

Sanderson reported a net income of $35.1 million for the second fiscal quarter of 2010, as compared to $26.2 million of net income during the same period in fiscal 2009. Sanderson also said that the company is still considering Goldsboro as a possible new location for a $94 million big bird deboning plant that could employ about 1,100 workers.
