NC Firm Recalls Pork Products For Undeclared Allergen

The Murphy House, a Louisburg, N.C., establishment, is recalling approximately 2,850 lbs. of pork barbecue products because they may contain an undeclared allergen, soy flour, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. Soy flour is a known potential allergen, which is not declared on the label.

San Francisco To Vote On $42K Grant For Moth Program

The California Department of Food and Agriculture has offered San Francisco a $42,448
grant to fund the Little Brown Apple Moth inspection and monitoring program at nurseries, nursery holding facilities including retail nurseries and producers of cut flowers, wholesale florists, garlands, wreaths or greenery and cut Christmas trees.
