BILLERICA — Charley Cummings can feel the wind blowing in his direction.
It's not coming from the north, south, east or west; it's heading in the direction of transparency.
"More and more people are interested in where their food is coming from," said Cummings, 33, of Carlisle. "Especially when it comes to meat, that there is an alternative to industrially-raised factory meat."
The proof that more people care about this is at Cummings' growing business: Walden Local Meat Co., which recently moved to Billerica because the company ran out of room in Burlington.
