Spread the news: One of New York’s biggest names in cheese is now in Omaha.
Murray’s Cheese, the cheesemonger that first opened in Greenwich Village in 1940, has opened a specialty shop inside an Omaha Baker’s supermarket.
It’s a long way from Bleecker Street to 888 Saddle Creek Road, but it’s not Murray’s first move from neighborhood shop to mass-market retail.
