LAKE CITY, Minn. — SweeTango, the sweet spot of the apple season, has a sweet new website to show off.
SweeTango, the premium fall apple variety that’s been winning raves for its standout flavor and texture, is pleased to unveil the new SweeTango.com, a revamped website that will bring apple lovers even closer to their favorite fruit.
With a totally updated retailer section, brand-new profiles and stories about SweeTango growers and delicious recipes and pairings, SweeTango.com will give apple lovers more cutting-edge content every week as the apple season rolls along.
“SweeTango is a premium variety, and our customers love the snap of satisfaction that comes with biting into the apple,” says Tim Byrne, executive director of Next Big Thing, A Growers’ Cooperative—the consortium that grows and markets SweeTango. “The new SweeTango.com is a great reflection of the SweeTango experience – bold, zesty and flavorful.”
The updated site supports an innovative national marketing campaign, which emphasizes digital promotions alongside tried-and-true retail tactics. Online interactivity, customer samplings, media outreach and more will revolve around the tagline: “The Sweet Spot of the Apple Season.”
SweeTango.com showcases a brand-new layout and aesthetic that will help tell the SweeTango story. The simple and forward-looking design nicely mirrors the premium characteristics of the SweeTango apple itself.
Highlights of the new website include:
- New recipes and pairings to bring out the best SweeTango flavors
- Biographies of our family-run growers across the U.S. and Canada
- In-depth grower profiles and interviews throughout the season
- “The SweeTango Story” – a video look at the birth of the SweeTango apple
- Information about retailers, store locations and SweeTango events
In addition, new grower stories, sampling opportunities and media clips will be added as the fall apple season approaches. Retail partners will be able to access contact information for grower sales, SweeTango images, logos, in-store signage and more.
