The employer that will add the most jobs in Massachusetts during the next year probably won’t be a biotech company or some hot tech startup.
The odds are good it’s going to be a supermarket chain.
Devotees of Wegmans — and there are many around here — will no longer have to schlep to Northborough to visit their favorite supermarket. The Rochester-based company plans to open three grocery stores here over the course of the next year, adding more than 1,600 full- and part-time jobs.
