Announcing New Mixim Greek Yogurt From Ehrmann USA

IRVINE, Calif. – Greek yogurt has never been so good or so much fun…or had so much heart. Ehrmann MIXIM™, a new fat-free Greek yogurt packaged in a distinctive heart-shaped container, will make its debut on store shelves in California, Arizona and Nevada during January 2014.

A large-scale product launch will be held on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2014) with the Children’s Heart Foundation as the beneficiary of funds raised from the event. Regional efforts including advertising, public relations and social media will also support the MIXIM introduction.

MIXIM, with its creamy fat-free yogurt and double-dip of toppings, has already won the hearts of buyers at Albertsons, Bashas, Raleys and Safeway in the Western U.S. When the new product line rolls out in a combined 1,000 stores, the company is looking to win the hearts of consumers.

With six flavors, there’s a MIXIM to match every food mood:

  • Decadent and dessert-like: Cherry and Dark Chocolate Curls; Raspberry with Dark and White Chocolate Curls
  • Take-me-away tropical: Mango & Pineapple with Coconut & Almonds; Honey with Coconut & Almonds
  • Fruity-crunchy: Strawberries and Granola; Blackberry & Pomegranate with Granola & Dried Fruits

“Consumers want choices and they want to personalize their food. Even packaged foods,” said Solly. “The two perfectly paired toppings in each flavor can be added a little at a time or all at once and lets consumers create their own taste sensations. MIXIM helps consumers do what they naturally do with their Greek yogurt…mix it up.”

MIXIM fat-free Greek yogurt is made with Cultured Pasteurized Grade A Milk (Live and Active cultures: Lactobacillus Bulgaricus, Streptococcus Thermophilus, Lactobacillus Acidophilus). Each 5.3-oz MIXIM container is approx. 150 calories and delivers 10g protein. MIXIM retails for $1.89 to $1.99 and will be available at Safeway, Raleys, Bashas and Albertsons in California, Nevada and Arizona in January.
