Walmart will open two new Omaha stores this week.
The new 175,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter at 5018 Ames Ave. will open Wednesday at 8 a.m. after a 7:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Also at 8 a.m. that same day, Walmart will open its sixth Omaha-area Neighborhood Market, the retailer's smaller grocery store format. The new 29,000-square-foot store at 2541 N. 90th St. will open after a 7:30 a.m. ribbon cutting.
