About 125 nursery growers, landscapers and gardening enthusiasts are expected to attend the annual NJNLA Summer Plant Symposium next Tuesday (Aug. 13) at the Rutgers Gardens in New Brunswick. This daylong event is actually a series of tours, demonstrations and classes starting at 9 am followed by a barbecue dinner in the evening. NJNLA’s director Dominic Mondi says half-day registrations are welcome for those who can’t get away from work for the whole day. There are lots of sponsors supporting the program; registration fee including meals is $65-95 for NJNLA members ($95-145 others).
