Syracuse, NY — Target is getting PFresh in Central New York.
As we told you a few months ago on the Store Front blog, Target is bringing its newest upgrades and looks to the region, a concept it calls PFresh.
The retail giant’s newest prototype stores feature much more in the way of grocery products, from fresh produce, dairy items and meats to frozen food and so-called “center store” products, from canned goods to cereals and more.
You’re seeing some of that work going on right now at the Target in Towne Center at Fayetteville.
Target started rolling out the concept at its home base in Minneapolis in 2008, began rolling it out regionally through 2009 and nationwide in the next two years.
