Winona Foods Inc. in Green Bay is investing $1.6 million to expand its production space and purchase capital equipment, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. said Wednesday.
The economic development agency said Winona Foods, a manufacturer of high-quality cheese for the food service, industrial and retail trade industries, is eligible for up to $75,000 in economic development tax credits. The project is expected to create up to 27 jobs.
The company's state-of-the-art facility was featured in a 2004 episode of The History Channel's "Modern Marvels" show.
