Chesterfield, Missouri – AB Mauri Fleischmann’s, a global leader in yeast and bakery ingredient products and solutions, today announced the hiring of Scott Meader as its new regional president of North America. He previously served as President and CEO of Milnot Holding Corporation.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to lead and develop the North American platform of AB Mauri and bring to market innovative baking solutions and technologies that our customers rely on,” Meader said. “I look forward to working with the executive team to ensure that we are the total resource for quality bakery ingredients, process optimization and custom formula solutions. Additionally, I would like to thank Colin Simmonds for filling the role of interim President, and with his return to AB Mauri Headquarters in the UK, am excited to continue working with him.”
As a well-respected and recognized food industry leader, Meader brings more than 25 years of management experience to AB Mauri Fleischmann’s. Previously, Meader served as president and chief executive officer at St. Louis based Milnot for more than 10 years. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Nellson Nutriceuticals LLC and Eurofresh, Inc. Meader has also held positions at Burns Philp Food, Pet Inc., A.T. Kearney and Quaker Oats Co.
Meader holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and he earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
