The North American Meat Institute (Meat Institute) today released its latest science-based animal care guidelines and audit for the meat industry. The guidelines and audit were authored by Colorado State University Professor of Animal Behavior Temple Grandin, Ph.D., working with the Meat Institute’s Animal Welfare Committee.
