Sara Lee Corp. today announced that it has appointed Sean Connolly as chief executive officer of its North American Retail and Foodservice business effective January 17, 2012. Connolly will serve as chief executive officer of MeatCo (Sara Lee’s North American Meats business) following the spin off of its International Coffee and Tea business, expected to be completed in the second calendar quarter of 2012.
